In May group of us visited Barbara Tyndall's delightful garden. The weather was a bit miserable but we still had a lovely afternoon examining the garden plants and enjoying tea and cakes in the sunshine. A big thank you to Barbara.
We run a number of outings each year to go and see for ourselves what other horticulturalists are up to.
In 2019 we visited Kew Gardens in May and will visit Lampton Hall and Gardens in September.
In 2018 we went to the Malvern Spring Show in May and Barnsdale Gardens in September.

Members and friends had a beautiful day for their trip to the Malvern Show. A grand time was had by all and many purchases made. It's lucky the coach had lots of luggage space. Thanks to Di and Jenny for organising it all and to Monique for the photos.

Visits to Members Gardens in 2018
Three members very kindly opened their gardens to groups of club members this year. By popular request Catherine Dallaway opened her garden again on a beautiful day in May and we enjoyed a pleasant afternoon admiring her colourful borders and Greenhouse and eating tea and cake. Jenny opened her garden in June. All the family enjoy the garden growing flowers fruit and vegetables and it was a treat to see how well they were doing. Vera Ainsworth invited us to her town garden with its perfectly clipped box balls on a lovely day in July. It was standing up well to the hot weather and we sat in the shade drinking tea and eating cake chatting about gardening matters. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Thanks to Jenny for the photographs again.
