Wednesday April 3rd -  

This meeting is our Spring Show and we have a speaker. Jeff Soulsby is giving a talk on 'Old Roses and Plants to go with Them' Jeff has his own nursery and will be bringing plants to sell.

The Spring Show has classes for bulbs, cut flowers, pot plants and home produce - marmalade, jelly and curds. There is something for everyone. Please bring an entry. Doors open at 6.30pm and judging starts at 6.50pm. If you would like a copy of the schedule please contact Myra Wilkinson - details on the Committee Page

Please bring along examples of plants that you have in the garden that are in flower or interesting in other ways. Members like to see what others are growing  in their gardens particularly at this time of year. 


Membership runs annually from February and is £10. We hope you will join the join and enjoy our speakers and shows throughout the year. Membership also gives you 10% discount at Hinton's, Smiths and Russell's Nurseries and on line at

The Society, formally the Kenilworth and District Horticultural Society was formed in March 1890 to further interest in all matters related to horticulture. 

Membership is open to all on payment on the annual subscription. Visitors are very welcome too. 

Meetings take place on the first Wednesday of each month, at 7:30pm at Wilton Club House, Senior Citizens Club off Abbey End car park.  See the Evening Meetings page for more details
