The Autumn Show has classes for flowers, fruit, vegetables, home baking, jams and chutneys. There is definitely one that will suit you so please enter. Jenny circulated a copy of the schedule with her August Meeting email but if you still need one please contact Myra Wilkinson or Liz Watson. Details on contacts page. The Mayor will be there to present prizes and after the show members will be talking about their favourite plants.

Our membership fee is great value at £10 and we hope you will join and enjoy our speakers and shows throughout the year. Membership also gives you 10% discount at Hinton's, Smiths and Russell's Nurseries.

Recent Events

At our August Meeting Pauline Pears gave an excellent talk on 'A Healthy Garden and Allotment without Pesticides'. To read more about our recent meetings click here. We also held our Geranium Competition which was judged by Pauline Pears and Linda Parker.  Congratulations to Monica Davies who won first prize. You can see photos of the geraniums and the results on the Show page.

There have been four very enjoyable Club visits to members gardens this year - details and pictures are on the Outings Page.  A big thank you to Vera, Louise , Barbara and Catherine who opened their gardens for us.

Several members have been bringing flowers for the Display Table which we hope will become a regular feature. Please bring in things that are interesting from your garden to share.
